Can't part with my Cuisinart!

I'm one of those people who gets really sentimental and attached to things people buy for me. This includes practical things like kitchen tools, and because of this I try to use these tools as long as I possibly can. In most cases, like if I receive a serving tray or casserole dish from someone, it's easy enough to make those products last. But several years ago, my sister bought me a Cuisinart food processor so I could make homemade baby food for my firstborn.

Let me tell you, that food processor has been a lifesaver in our house. Not only have we used it to make baby food for multiple kids, we use it for a variety of purposes: chopping veggies, making pie crust, the list goes on and on. In fact, I would say that the food processor has been used in our house at least three times a week since we opened it! The processor definitely shows signs of wear, but I love it all the same because it was a gift from my sister and a gift celebrating my son.

With all that in mind it should be no surprise that I have been reluctant to replace the food processor. Yes, I know it's had a lot of use in the year since we got it. Yes, I know replacing it with a newer model would mean a better cooking experience for everyone in our house. And yet I don't want to get rid of the original machine because of all the memories attached to it!

Recently, my husband suggested that we look for extra parts online, so we could replace the pieces that were too worn down without replacing the machine in full. We did a quick search for Cuisinart food processor parts, and sure enough we found Kitchen Works right away!

I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical. Would I really be able to find the right parts for my specific machine? How would I even know where to start? Well luckily, Kitchen Works makes the whole process easy for you. They have a helpful page on their site that tells you how to identify your processor's model number, and then they have their store organized by model. We were able to find the pieces we needed quickly, and they were available for much cheaper than buying a new machine.

Thanks to Kitchen Works, I was able to give my food processor new parts so it runs like a dream again — without having to get rid of something that is truly special to me. They are a true shopping trifecta: their inventory is great, their shipping is fast, and their prices are just right! I've already bookmarked their website, so I am sure I'll be coming back the next time I need a replacement piece for my Cuisinart food processor.
